The CDC recommends that you do not travel internationally until you are fully vaccinated. International travel poses additional risks, and even fully vaccinated travelers might be at increased risk for getting and possibly spreading some COVID-19 variants. CSU requires that all students be insured during their time abroad, therefore IP participants are covered by a health and emergency travel assistance insurance policy with Ace American Insurance. The cost of this mandatory insurance is included in your IP program costs. This insurance is only valid outside of the U.S. The IP insurance policy also includes emergency travel assistance coverage which is a supplemental part of your health insurance policy that will assist if you need emergency medical care or travel assistance while traveling abroad.

Instructions for People Vaccinated in the U.S. to receive a French Health Pass: On 10 August 2021, the French government released instructions on how people vaccinated outside the European Union, including people vaccinated in the United States, may obtain a French Health Pass. Complete the application to convert a foreign vaccination certificate into a French health pass

Right now, it is imperative to adopt a collectivistic view. It is important to think globally - here are some strongly recommended tips for traveling safely during unprecedented times. Wash Your Hands (as often as possible) and keep hand sanitizer (that is at least 60% in alcohol content) in your possession and apply it. Abstain Close Contact to Others, keeping in mind the safety of everyone involved. Wear a Cloth Face Covering. While traveling in public, no matter the capacity of the space you’re in, wearing a face mask protects everyone in that space. Stay United, Noble, and Cooperative. Remember to be courteous; thank the personnel you encounter and be mindful of what they are putting on the line in order for you to travel. Stay safe.

During your stay in France, download and activate the #TousAntiCovid APP which allows the user to be alerted or to alert others in case of exposure to Covid-19. The user can thus act directly for his health and that of others by helping to break the chains of transmission and slow the spread of the virus. The use of this app is voluntary and you are free to activate and deactivate accordingly.
